Last night, I attended a workshop at midnight by a virtual mentor who consistently makes about US$30-50K/month just by working 3 hours a day.

And while I’d prefer “working” more as I enjoy what I do…

I’ve benefitted a lot by learning how he strategises & simplifies his entire business to make it super effective & productive. 

Can’t wait to test out & upgrade these systems and report my findings to clients moving forward.

Anyway…

Something else I learnt from him was simply this:

You Win on the Thing You Focus On.

This means that all humans progress on what we focus our thoughts & actions on.

• If you usually focus on “not losing money”, you’ll not lose money but not make a lot at the same time.

• If you usually focus on “playing it safe”, you’d live a very safe & comfortable life, but you might never live a life that’s true to yourself.

• If you usually focus on “learning & consuming”, you’ll learn a lot, but you might never translate that into actual results for your life.

And I used to focus on the above, but I do not anymore.

For example, I now focus on the following:

1. Recurring Cash Flow

I used to admire the people who made millions. 

I still do, but I no longer try to emulate them anymore.

Now, I look at the amount of recurring cash flow an entrepreneur makes - how much you can predictably & consistently generate each month, 

Because if you have to always “hustle” & “grind” your way to success while being unhappy, unhealthy, or not spending time on what matters to you,

That’s not the kind of life I’d look up to.

2. Client Obsession

Recently, a client shared some honest & direct feedback about his experience with us.

Some points were good, but he shared many areas of improvement as well.

My team and I immediately had an urgent meeting the next day to discuss what he mentioned, and we arranged multiple calls to ensure that he understood all the value he was receiving.

We also just conducted yet another run of client surveys to prepare for our next wave of upgrades for clients - playbooks, systems, personal calls, etc.

We know it’s impossible to satisfy every client 100% of the time, but we never stop trying to improve ourselves.

We know other folks might have different thoughts or values about this, but this is what we call obsessing over Client Results.

So while we know we cannot win everything in business & life…

We choose to focus on what truly matters to us.

And when you have Faith & Keep Taking Action…

You know you can’t help but to succeed.
